The third edition of the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) will be dedicated to the turn of nuclear energy industry, entering a new era.

This world class event will be the opportunity for the actors of nuclear sector to address the challenge of energy transition, gaining visibility with a vast audience. This year, the WNE will cover an area of 25,350 m² and welcome more than 20,000 visitors from all over the world. During the 3 days of exhibitions, visitors will have access to a rich program of panel sessions, exhibitor workshops, startup pitches, lunch discussions, guided tours, networking sessions and B2B meetings.

For the first time, the WNE is organizing lunch debates, addressing various subjects: SMRs (Small Modular Reactors) on Wednesday June 27th , Advanced Reactors (Gen IV and beyond) on Thursday June 28th. Selected technologies will be presented and challenged during these lunch debates, with speakers including Alan Woods from Rolls Royce, Anton Moskvin from Rosatom, Bernard Bigot from ITER, Song Danrong from CNNC and Bernard Salha from EDF. Panel discussions will also be carried with prominent chairmans, including the CEO of Framatome Bernard Fontana, the CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Shunichi Miyanaga, the Deputy Director & Secretary General of Engie Pierre Mongin, the CEO of EDF Jean-Bernard Levy and the director of Orano Philippe Knoche.

 

For this 2018 session are expected:

  • 4,000 B2B meetings organized
  • 800 exhibitors, 37% of them international from 27 countries
  • 20 national pavilions

 

Four specific topics will be addressed for the first time:

  • Small modular reactors (SMRs)
  • Advanced reactors (Generation IV and beyond)
  • Digitalisation
  • Decommissioning and Dismantling (D&D)
